A clinical Study on the efficacy of Psorcure Treatment Plan for Psoriatic Arthritis Print E-mail
A
16 weeks clinic study was conducted to see the efficacy of Psorcure Treatment plan  and effectiveness of Psorcure Treatment Plan to reduce the intake of methotrexate by patients.

For this clinical study a group of 25 patients with psoriatic arthritis were taken.

There were 15 males and 10 females in the group with average age of 46 years

All the patients were pre-diagnosed and confirmed as Psoriatic Arthritis patients having 2 or more joints effected. Two patients in the group were not able to move from the bed.

All the patients were on Methotrexate 7.5mg to 12.5 mg per week average 10mg/week.

Before the start of treatment, Blood tests, Liver tests and specially designed Psorcure Life Index (PLI) servey was taken for every patient.

Psorcure Life Index is a specially designed index to measure the overall quality of healthy life of a psoriatic arthritis patient. 

Average SGOT and SGPT level was 48 IU/L and 52 IU/L respectively for the group.

Average PLI was 21.3 (at the scale of 0-100) for the group.

Clinic Study Results

20 patients (80% of the group) reduced the intake of methotrexate from average 10mg/week to 5mg/week (a 50% reduction) after 3 months of this clinical study, without triggering any flare up or any other negative symptom.

Inflammation was reduced by 50% at the end of 2 months and 80% at the end of clinic study period.

After 3 months of study Average SGOT and SGPT were 38 IU/L and 45 IU/L respectively.

PLI was scored at 34.1. An improvement of 60% in general quality of Psoriatic Arthritis life index.

20% improvement in mobility of stiff joints were observed at the end of study period and 2 patients in the group at near disability were able to make a slow walk on their own.

Conclusion

Psorcure Treatment Plan for Psoriatic Arthritis is capable to reduce the intake of methotrexae with reduction in inflammation and improvement in overall quality of life of psoriatic arthritis patients
